I've been so busy finishing the album! It's all written and everything but in the final stages of production before it's release - and i've been really involved with that side of things as well. Everything's sounding great. And i've just been to LA shooting the new video which is very cool and funky.
Well, it's called If You'd Only Make Up Your Mind. It's a much more uptempo song than the last one and it really makes you want to dance, and i'm so happy with it. The album's going to be a real mixture of stuff - there really is something for everyone. I've really put my heart and soul into the songs and i'm so proud of them.
For the first couple of months i was missing the other boys, but this is a
new era and i'm so busy at the
moment... The other reason i'm not too sad is that i know it's not over -
i know that in the future we'll be doing
something together again. Besides, i don't get lonely, that's not me, i've
always been a solitary person. I don't
get upset about things, i just move on!
I just want to create my audience - not neccessarily a huge one, but just an audience. I'm going to go on tour at the beginning of the year and then i'll start working on my second album next summer.
I'd like to see myself as happily married with a settled home life, and an established career - going out on tour every couple of years, releasing an album every two years - just a very steady progression. It's all about love of the music, y'know? I love singing, i love writing songs.. i'm on top of the world!
